What kind of company is OPS ?
OPS is a Hong Kong based company with European and Hong Kong capital and with long term experience in China. OPS is involved with production of many playground products as it is shareholder in different factories in China. OPS acts as commercial window for several factories producing in China.

Who is behind OPS ?
The shareholders of OPS are financial investors that have chosen to remain on the background and have given the management to local managers in Hong Kong and China.

Does OPS have European EN 71, EN 1176 of American ASTM certification ?
Most of the production done by OPS is OEM production which means that the customer supplies the drawings, specifications and requirements. Either the customer looks by himself for the certification or OPS can get the products certified according to the required standards against cost price of certification quoted by competent companies such as SGS, TÜV, Buro Veritas etc.

Do OPS products comply with most recent standards.
OPS can produce all items according the most recent standards EN 71, EN 1176 or ASTM.
Certification however requires clear specifications and some time to run through the relevant procedures and tests.

Do OPS products comply with REACH regulations and are all products PAH and free of phthalates, heavy metals such as Cadmium and Lead and free of azo-dyes ?
OPS is very familiar with all regulation of the European Toy Directives and the EN 71 standards, therefore OPS is able to provide products that fully comply with all the regulations in that sense.

What kind of guarantees does OPS provide on its products ?
OPS provides the normal EU commercial products guarantee of 2 years for all its products. In case of treated timber products a special guarantee that extends over several years can be included.

Can we visit the factories of OPS ?
OPS produces its products in different factories and is open to have customers visiting some of its production units or production units it is involved with, this will however depend on the type of product and importance of the order involved.

Where are the OPS offices and factories located ?
The head office is located in Hong Kong and the factories are located mainly in Zhejiang and Jinagsu provinces in China.

Does OPS already supply to Europe ?
At present OPS is just making his introduction into the European market. The reason to come to SPOGA is to have a first sense and approach of the market and to gather information on a potential customer base with the purpose of long term business.

Can we have exclusivity for the OPS products ?
OPS does not give exclusivity for a specific market, however it is clear that customer that are the first to adopt OPS products have the best chance to become preferential customer and after proven sales to become authorized dealer and after this all options are open.

How can I become a customer of OPS ?
First thing to do is to make an inquiry with a clear and detailed specification of the required products, their quality, their quantity and their full description included materials list, color specifications and packing requirements. Than OPS will make an offer and if the offer is accepted the pro forma invoice will follow. The rest of the process is given in the order processing and payment procedures.

How does the order processing and payment with OPS work ?
After receiving the customers’ order our office in Hong Kong prepares the pro forma invoice that needs to be countersigned by the customer. Once this has been done our office will ask for the advance payment of 30 % of the amount in order to start up the production. The remainder of 70 % will have to be paid after receiving the copy of the Bill of lading proving that the goods are on board.

Can we have a discount ?
All offer OPS is making are net price offers and discounts for quantity are already calculated in the offer. Extra discounts are not available since all business is on prepaid basis as a basic rule.

Does OPS have an after sales service ?
OPS prides itself to supply only first grade items. However if any problem or defect might occur that is due to a production error OPS will take its responsibility and look for a solution that pleases the customer.

Can I order small quantities from OPS ?
OPS has based his business model on providing good quality at competitive price. In order to achieve this goal the transactions have to be simple, clear and of sufficient volume. Therefore only full 20’ or 40’ container loads are within the scope of OPS. However for regular customers that order more than one container in one season OPS can provide partial shipments on LCL basis exceptionally.
